Happy Thanksgiving!!!

My Granny, Aunt Debbie, Brooke and Colby (cousins) came over for Thanksgiving! We had a wonderful time together. We don't get to see them very often so it was really great to visit for several hours. I had a wonderful idea for her to take our pictures for Christmas after lunch so we went to Downtown Celina for a photo shoot. LOL!!! Duane wasn't too happy because the cowboy game was about to start and I through a wrench in his plan but he survived.

Today we went out shopping for Black Friday. Yes, we actually ventured out in all the traffic. We went to Hobby Lobby, Mardels, Wolf Camera and to the mall to watch a movie. Here's some pictures that my aunt took of us for Christams and some pictures from Thanksgiving. Hope you had a great day!

Great weekend!

Duane & I went to visit with Rob, Sherra and Ryan on Saturday. We went to watch the Ohio State game with them and had a great time! Ryan is growing so fast and is becoming a little boy now. Yesterday, we just worked around the house after church and watched the cowboy game. HOW ABOUT THEM COWBOYS!!! Duane got in the attic and brought down all of our Christmas stuff so we can start decorating for Christmas! I go to the doctor in 2 weeks and can't wait to see our little peanuts growing!

Genesis 25:21

Ok, this is the verse that I prayed over and over again in the past several months!! I only read and prayed verse 21. Read the rest! WOW!!! I didn’t realize that I was praying for TWINS!!!!

21 Isaac prayed to the LORD on behalf of his wife, because she was barren. The LORD answered his prayer, and his wife Rebekah became pregnant. 22 The babies jostled each other within her, and she said, "Why is this happening to me?" So she went to inquire of the LORD.

23 The LORD said to her,
"Two nations are in your womb,
and two peoples from within you will be separated;
one people will be stronger than the other,
and the older will serve the younger."

24 When the time came for her to give birth, there were twin boys in her womb. 25 The first to come out was red, and his whole body was like a hairy garment; so they named him Esau. [y] 26 After this, his brother came out, with his hand grasping Esau's heel; so he was named Jacob. [z] Isaac was sixty years old when Rebekah gave birth to them.

27 The boys grew up, and Esau became a skillful hunter, a man of the open country, while Jacob was a quiet man, staying among the tents. 28 Isaac, who had a taste for wild game, loved Esau, but Rebekah loved Jacob.

WOW!!!! God is AMAZING!!!!

It's been a crazy 2 days!!!

I went to Mardels Book Store yesterday after work to make an exchange. I decided to laminate my ultrasound pictures to keep them nice so they wouldn't get all wrinkled up. I asked the lady if it was ok to put my pictures in the machine and she said "YES!!! IT WONT HURT THEM". As soon as they went through the machine they turned solid BLACK. I was not a happy camper at all. I almost burst into tears right in the store. So, I called the doctors office today and I can pick up another set of copies tomorrow. THANK GOODNESS!!!!! Then today I come home from work and Duane had started some laundry. He left his "NEW IPOD TOUCH" in his pants pocket and now its all wet. He was so upset! We are hoping for our week to get better!!

Hopefully OU will beat Texas Tech on Saturday!!

I took me first pregnancy picture so I can look back and see how much I've grown! Nothing yet but I'm sure its coming! LOL!!

5K Walk in Mckinney

Duane & I had a great weekend! He worked on the kitchen most of the time and I had a full schedule on Saturday. I walked in a 5K Run on Saturday morning and it was freezing. The wind was blowing so hard that it made it really hard to even walk but I made it. I had a really good time and look forward to doing more walks in the future. Duane has the kitchen and our front room ready for our friend Jeremy to come over and tape and bed. He moved the electric in our bedroom over yesterday so its now by the new door and not on the other side of the room. He posted our cabinets on Craigs List so hopefully we can sell them to help us pay for our new cabinets. We are having to do this project in small steps because of the cost involved. My next doctors appointment is on December 8th so we have 3 weeks to wait. Hopefully they will do another sonogram and we can see our little peanuts growing! I feel pretty good, just a little tired still but we are so blessed!!

HUGE BLESSINGS TODAY!!!!!!!!!

We'll its been a day full of blessings!! Duane & I went to the doctor today to have a sonogram. Everything went great and we are having "TWINS"!! WOW!!! I told Duane last week at the doctors office that we were having twins, I just had a feeling for some reason. We've waited along time to have a baby and God is really blessing us so much. Thank you to everyone that has been praying for us!!! We've had so many wonderdful people praying for us for along time and we just knew that God would bless us in his time. His timing is so perfect and we are so excited. During the sonogram the nurse said "Thats the Baby" and Thats the other Baby". I thought Duane was going to fall on the floor! Then she started to look for a third baby and Duane said "Please Don't". LOL!!! We got to hear the babies heart beats and now its feels so real to us. I'm 6weeks2days pregnant so we have a long way to go but we are ready for our lives to change.

WOW!!! How quick things change in a week! Duane & I just found out on Tuesday that I'm pregnant! We went to the doctor on Thursday for our first check up and had blood drawn to verify everything (we are still waiting to CONFIRM for sure)We are going back on Thursday to have a sonogram and then we can relax! I feel really good besides being a little bit tired. We are sooooooooo excited!!!

Duane is still working in the kitchen! He tore out several walls where our bedroom door used to be and pantry. We are trying to make our kitchen larger so this was the best option. We have been working on our house so thought I would create a blog so everyone could see the progress. We just finished out living room and just have a few more things to do. Now we are going to start working on upgrading our kitchen so this should be lots of fun! Duane moved our bedroom door to the front room today in order to expand our kitchen. Now, he is framing in the the wall in our bedroom to take down the orginal door. Here are some pictures!
