First time to Church

We took the girls to church this morning for the first time. They slept through the entire service thank goodness! I'm sure they will enjoy Cowboy Church as they grow older. What a blessing to have such a huge church family that loves us so much. Everyone has been so wonderful to us throughout this entire pregnancy and the birth of the girls. We appreciate all of you so much and can't thank you enough for everything. A big "THANK YOU" to Margie, Michelle and Lesa for bringing over dinner for us. It sure made it alot easier on us! We love you all!!

On the way to church!

Enjoying church service!

Trying to take a nap after church... a much needed nap. LOL!

1 Week Old

The girls turned 1 week old today and are doing great. We finally had a good night last night and seem to be on a schedule now. They've been sleeping for about 3 hours and then it's feeding time. This past week seems like a lifetime!! Here's a couple of pictures of the girls from today.

Not much sleep!

We'll the girls decided they didn't want to sleep last night on our first day home. Duane & I feed them, walked around with them and nothing seemed to make them happy. They just didn't want to sleep. We are hoping that tonight is much better.

Here's a few picutres from the sponge baths today!

What a blessing from above!!! Emma and Ava have melted our hearts and we are so in love with these little girls. Our stay at Cenntenial Medical Center was wonderful and they took great care of us all. We are all doing great and were able to come home from the hospital today.

WOW!!! Less than 2 days to go!

We can't believe it's flown by so fast. It seems like yesterday that we just found out we were pregnant and now the babies are about to be born. We have to be at the hospital on Saturday morning at 7am to get ready for the c-section at 9am. The babies will be born shortly after that and we will offically be parents. Please keep us in your prayers!!!

Bye-Bye JEEP!

We finally had to break down and get a family car before the girls arrive. So, we traded in our Jeep for a Chevy Traverse. It will work out perfect for us and we will even have room for up to 8 people. I had to give the Jeep a kiss good-bye as we will miss riding around with the top down. We had a blast with it but now its time for parenthood.

Kings Trail Cowboy Church Picnic

This past Sunday was our churchs yearly picnic. We had the service outside and it turned out wonderful!!!! After church we had tons of things going on such as a fishing tournament for the kiddos, horseshoe pitching for the adults, lots of great food, etc. It was just a great day to be outside and to visit with everyone.

Only 18 Days to go!!!

Duane & I went to the doctor yesterday afternoon for my 35 week appointment. They did another sonogram and we still couldn't see Ava's face. She had her hand in the way the entire time. The sonogram tech tried and tried to get her to move so we could see but she still wouldn't move. They are both growing at the same rate. Emma is an estimated 5.35lbs and Ava is an estimated 5.20lbs. Two weeks ago they thought Emma might of slowed down growing but this sonogram showed that they are pretty much the same. My blood pressure is still good and now we will start going to the doctor once a week till we deliver in 18 days. Please keep us in your prayers that everything goes well with the c-section and the babies on June 20th. In the meantime, I'm trying my best to keep my feet up. My feet and hands are still swelling but it won't be long now.
