More progress!!

Here's some more picture of the kitchen. A friend of ours "Jeremy" will be coming over this weekend to texture. Duane is having a really hard time getting up all the tile and he's needs to remove all of it before installing the cabinets. Wish I could help him!!

More Kitchen Construction

Duane removed the rest of the cabinets today and the wall. WOW!

Here we go!!!

Duane started taking down our old cabinets today! He also, tore out some of the wall and he has alot more to do. Here's a picture to just give you an idea. We want to have an open flow kitchen. It's a huge project but its getting there.

23 Weeks Prego!!

Here's a new belly picture at 23 weeks. LOL!!! It's amazing that I have 2 baby girls in my belly. They have started kicking a little bit the past two weeks and I just love feeling them move around. I can't wait for Duane to be able to feel them moving. My back is feeling a little bit better but please still keep me in your prayers. It's just something that I have to deal with from day to day but it will be worth it in the end. God Bless!!!!

Kitchen Remodel

Duane started taking everything off the walls tonight so we can get ready for all the construction. We are in the process of remodeling the kitchen with new cabinets, granite counter tops, tile, new texture and paint on the walls. The laundry room and mud room will be textured, painted and retiled also. We are kind of in a hurry since this must be done before the baby girls get here. Duane will remove all of our existing cabinets on Wednesday, have an electrican come hopefully and do some rewiring for us and then we'll be ready for Jeremy to come over and do the texture. The paint and texture will be the same as the living room.

Blessed Once Again!!

We now have the twins pack-n-play. Duane had a really sweet customer that gave him some extra cash today for the twins. So, it covered to cost of this. What a blessing!!

Baby Beds

Rick is in the process of building the baby beds for the girls. They are one of a kind!!!! I can't wait to see them finished!! Thank you so much Rick & Colleen for doing this for us and the babies.

22 weeks 3 days

Here's another belly picture! I'm growing and growing! I can finally start to feel them kick and its pretty exciting.

Babies Room - Closet

Here's a couple of pictures of the closet in the babies room. Duane built the shelves and painted it this past week. Still have more to do!

Back Pain Please Go Away!!!

The last time I posted we had started painting the nursery. After that weekend I started to have some major back pain that's had me down for over a week now. At first I thought I had just tried to do to much and it would get better in a couple of days. I had a prenatal massage, been to the chiropractor 4 times and still no relief. Yesterday, I realized that every time I eat I get this shooting pain in my back. I think maybe my stomach gets full, pushes the babies around and they end up on a nerve which causes the pain. I'm still not sure yet but just trying to fiqure this out.

Duane is still working on the nursery. We have more painting to do! We are also trying to get the kitchen finished before the babies get here. Our new cabinets should be here in a couple of weeks and then Duane can get them installed. So many things to get done in so little time. It wouldn't be normal if we didn't have so many things going on at the same time. LOL!!!

Painting the Nursery

We started painting the nursery today!!! YEAH!!! We had lots of fun and have alot more to do but this is a start. Hope you enjoy the pictures. The face mask is just so much fun to wear but I have to protect the baby girls from the spell of paint. LOL!

20 weeks Pregnant!

Wow! I'm 20 weeks/ 5 months pregnant today and my belly is growing so much. No way I can hide that I'm pregnant now.

Babies Room

Here's some pictures of the baby bedding that we bought on Saturday. We got most of the accessories to go with it since we got such a great deal. Its called "Hey Cowgirl" and its going to work out great with the baby beds! We couldn't of found anything more PERFECT!

Trade Days

Duane had a booth this weekend at Trade Days in McKinney trying to sell some of the wood things that he makes. It was pretty chilly but that didn't stop people from coming out. He didn't sell much stuff but hopefully with Spring and Summer coming he will do much better.

Baptism's Last Sunday

Three of our friends were baptized on Sunday after church. After attending the "Cowgirls of Faith Gathering" they decided to rededicate their lives to Christ. This was very excting for us as we've known these ladies for several years. We got some really great pictures! Now, this is how we do it at Cowboy Church!!!! Yes, the water is freezing. Congrats Vikki, Becky & Sandra! We are so excited for you.

18 weeks Pregnant/ 2 Baby Girls

We went to the doctor today for an ultrasound to find out the sex of the babies. We are having "Fraternal Girls". They checked all the babies organs and everything looks great on both babies. Now, we can start painting and decorating the room.

17 Weeks Pregnant

I finally got around to taking another belly shot. I feel like I've really grown in the past couple of weeks. I've started to feel the babies moving around a little bit and that's very exciting to me. Hopefully, we will be able to see them move from the outside of my belly in the next couple of weeks. We go to the doctor next Monday, Feb 2nd to hopefully find out what we are having for sure. Duane started working on the babies room yesterday. He pulled out the old baseboards,replaced it all,and hung casing around all the door/windows. Then, he's going to hang some crown molding and a chair rail in the room. We will be ready to paint really soon!

Cowgirls of Faith Gathering

This weekend was the yearly "Cowgirls of Faith Gathering" in Athens, Texas. I've been very involved with COF over the past year and Young Cowgirls of Faith www.cowgirlsoffaith.net. Michelle Carson with COF asked me to give my testimony after I had shared the journey of trying to get pregnant with her. COF doubled in size from last year going from around 350 ladies to 650 ladies. I will upload the video when I can fiqure it out. I had a wonderdful time and can't wait to go back next year.

16 weeks/ 4 months pregnant today!!

Wow,time is really starting to fly by it seems! We will find out on Feb 2nd (2 wks from today) what we are having for sure. We are so excited so we can start decorating the babies room. We need to paint, pick out colors, and so much more. I feel great! I've had lots more energy in the past 2 weeks so I'm not near as tired as I've been. I started deep cleaning the house this weekend. (Lots of fun) I'm cleaning out cabinets, throwing stuff in the trash and making a pile of stuff for a garage sale. Hopefully, we will make lots of room for all the baby stuff. I will post some new belly pics soon!

Duane left for Austin again tonight to work for the next couple of days. The housing market has been so slow that he's been driving to Austin just to be able to get some work. Please keep his buisness in your prayers! We know that God will always provide for us!!!

Visit to Kilgore

A couple of weeks ago we went and visited with Jeremy, Jennifer, Allie and Luke. We were so excited because it had been so long since we had been to see them. Allie is so cute and growing up so fast. Luke is the cutiest baby with all his fat rolls. We went out to dinner and visited for the day. They have done lots of work on the house and it looks great. You should see the view they have from the back porch. It's so BEAUTIFUL!!! We hope to see them again real soon!!

14 weeks pregnant!

We went to the doctor yesterday for our monthy check up and our doctor wanted us to go back today for a sonogram. He just wanted to make sure everything was going okay with the babies. We do have two babies, both have 2 arms, 2 legs, great heartbeats and are moving around in my belly just fine! We were so excited to actually see a picture of them. The lady that did our ultrasound said that she thinks we may be having 2 girls but won't be sure till next month. Poor Duane, LOL!!!!! My belly has really started to grow and I've posted a few pictures!
