Snowing in Texas!

Yes, it's snowing here in Texas. Last Friday it was 75 degrees and BEAUTIFUL and this Friday it's 30 degrees and snowing. I wanted a fire so bad to stay warm, I was determined that I could get one going. It took me about an hour but I did it.

The girls are starting to crawl. It will still be a couple of weeks before they are all over the place but its starting. I started putting them in the pack-n-play because they grab everything they can reach. If they can't reach it they will try really hard to crawl and get it. They are tons of fun!!

The annual "Cowgirls of Faith Conference" was this past weekend and I took the girls with me since I gave my testimony lst year about trying to get pregnant. Everyone loved getting to see the girls and we had a blast. 48 ladies from Kings Trail Cowboy Church attended the conference and a total attendance of 1,000 ladies from other cowboy church's. Wow, the first year it started with 350 ladies, then last year 650 ladies and now it almost doubled. Go to www.cowgirlsoffaith.net for more information about this women's ministry.

The girls are feeling a little bit better but still not completely well. I have it now but hoping I don't get it too bad. We are going to the Cowgirls of Faith Conference this weekend so we need to feel good!!

Still Sick!!

Emma & Ava are still fighting this cold. We thought Ava was getting better so we only took Emma to the doctor on Monday. They said that she just had a really bad cold and nothing they could do for her but to take Tylenol or Motrin. Emma seems to be a little bit better but still couching and has a runny nose. Ava started getting worse yesterday and is couching pretty bad. We are hoping and praying that there is an end to this soon. I started feeling like I was getting it again last night so trying my best not to spread it to Duane. Please keep us in your prayers.

Christmas in Texas

We drove straight through on the way home from Ohio on Christmas day. When we got home we had our Christmas together. We had to stop half way through because the girls needed a nap. Duane & I were worn out from a busy week so we napped on and off all day too.... WE FORGOT TO TAKE PICTURES!!!!!

This past weekend we had one more Christmas with Duane Sr. & Louise. Jessie, Jeremy, Jennifer, Allie, Luke, Rob, Sherra & Ryan came over to celebrate Christmas with us. We had a house full and a wonderful time together.

Craft Day

This is year #5 to visit with the kiddos and for the past 3 years we have been doing crafts with them. This is what Christmas is all about! We have so much fun with them!

Meet & Greet

Nana Colleen & Papa Rick held a "Meet & Greet" for all the family to come see the girls for the first time. Tons of people came and the food was WONDERDUL! Thank you Collen & Rick for all you did for us!

Christmas Morning in Ohio

We woke up Christmas morning and Santa was very good to the girls!! Lots and lots of toys and clothes! After opening presents we were off to Grandma Golden's for Christmas with the rest of the family.

Snow Tubing

We had a BLAST snow tubing with everyone during our visit to Ohio. We actually drove to Indiana to go tubing!! We had 23 people show up (most of them were family) and now we think we'll make it a yearly family gathering at Christmas time. Nana & Papa watched the girls so Duane & I could go have some fun.

Wegley's Christmas

We spent Christmas Eve at the Wegley's and then attended a church service with Dennis & Pat. The girls loved meeting everyone!! All the cousins, aunts and uncles all took turns holding the girls and seemed to enjoy every minute of it.
