Happy Thanksgiving

We went to Jeremy & Jennifer's for Thanksgiving in Kilgore and had a great time. Allie didn't leave the girls sight the entire time we were there. Ryan & Allie had a great time playing and holding the girls. We had some really great food and even went for a walk to pet the horses. I couldn't leave without going up in Allie's playhouse.

Duane hung christmas lights on the house this weekend with the help from my cousin Colby. We put up the christmas tree and have most of the house decorated so we are ready to get in the christmas spirit.

By the way, Ava is getting another tooth on the bottom and it just broke the skin today. Teething is NOT FUN AT ALL!!! Emma will be getting a tooth any day now.

Ava has a tooth!!!

Ava has been getting a tooth since she was 3 months old and it finally came through about 3 weeks ago. Yes, I know that it's way EARLY!! LOL!! I love her little tooth and can't believe the girls turned 5 months old on Friday. I can't wait to put up our Christmas tree so they can look at all the lights. They are both rolling over both ways and they just keep rolling across the floor. I put them down, come back in the room and they have rolled to the other side. They will be crawling before you know it. I'm not sure how in the world I will keep up with them. They are holding all kinds of things, grabbing for stuff, and can squeeze really hard. Emma pulled the cross right off my necklace yesterday. They laugh and smile all the time. It just melts my heart and I'm so thankful for them.

Pumpkin Patch

Duane & I took the girls to the Pumpkin Patch on Saturday afternoon and boy did we have fun. Ok, I had fun and the girls had no idea what we were doing. LOL!! It will be so much fun for them next year. They have a hay ride, animals to feed, so many different places to take pictures and you get to take home a PUMPKIN of your choice.

Here's a few pictures of the girls eating cereal with a spoon. Now, this is a challenge. Sometimes they like it and sometimes they don't but we'll keep trying.

Baby Dedication & Family in Town

Nana, Aunt Stacy, Grandpa Duane & Grandma Louise were in town a couple of weeks ago to see the girls. Stacy did another photo shoot with us so we'll be sending out some pictures soon. We can't wait to see them, she always does a fantastic job! While Stacy was in town she also did a photo shoot with some friends of our "Adam & Angela" that have boy/girls twins. Colleen, Stacy, Duane Sr. & Louise were a huge help to us with the girls! Feeding, changing diapers, burping and tons of spoiling!! We had such a great time with them and hated to see them leave.

We had the girls "Baby Dedication" at church while everyone was in town. Duane & I also decided to rededicate our lives. It was a very special day for our little family. Thank you to so many wonderful friends and family that were there to share this with us. WE LOVE YOU!!

4 Months Old!

We took the girls to their 4 month check up today. Here's the updates on them below:

Emma Jean - 14.3lbs, 23.3" long, she got an A+ on exam

Ava Marie - 14.4lbs, 23.5" long, she got an A+ on exam.

The doctor said we could start feeding ceral now and I'm so excited!!! We tried it tonight for the first time and they did great with a spoon. Maybe they will sleep all night!

Ava rolled over for the first time this week. I put her on her tummy, walked out of the room to grab something for 30 seconds and missed it. She was all smiles and knew she had done something. I get so excited at every little thing they do.

First trip to the Park

Molly & I took the girls to the park in McKinney on Saturday to see the ducks and to get a little exercise. Duane was working on the children's building at church so he wasn't able to go with us. The weather was BEAUTIFUL and the girls just loved it.

15 weeks!!

Yes, the girls are 15 weeks already and they are sooooooo much fun. They are smiling and cooing more and more every single day. They looked so cute in these outfits with the hats on Sunday at church.

Ava has a small purple bruise on her bottom gums and we have no idea why. She's too young to be cutting teeth so we're not sure. It doesn't seem to bother her so we'll just keep an eye on it for now.
